WHEN TO GO

For ten months of the year, Hoi An has a dry, warm climate and is very pleasant to visit, whether you’re there to explore the town or relax on the beach. December to March, with cooler temperatures and less rainfall, is particularly pleasant.

The only time Hoi An is best avoided is October-November, when storms hit Vietnam’s central coast and rainfall more than doubles.
