WHEN TO GO

Siem Reap’s climate follows the typical Southeast Asian pattern – warm, wet summers and cooler, dry winters.

Given the rainfall rarely last longer than an hour, there isn’t really a bad time to visit Siem Reap; however the heat in April & May can be extreme, especially for wandering around all those temples. As such, we recommend travelling between December & March, when rain is very rare and the temperatures are a little more bearable.
